Mage Lanz is a portrait artist in Los Angeles, California. Due to progressive vision loss, she no longer does portraits in a realistic style.

She has been painting since she was a child; first in watercolor, then in the porcelain paints of her mother, and in high school finding her calling in acrylics. She studied painting, drawing and digital art at Ripon College.

As a member of the Sunnyvale Art Club, she won many ribbons in the Gold section, moving onto the Blue section of the more experienced artists and winning several more ribbons in that category.
